My year in review
Wow! This past year has been a rollercoaster ride. Senior year of college was jammed packed with student-teaching, exams, partying, wedding planning, etc. I never thought I would get through it all.
I started student teaching in August of 2006. It was amazing. I have never enjoyed something so much in my life. For the first semester, I was a student teacher in a third grade class, and for my second semester, I was student teaching in a second grade class. I loved all of my students, the teachers and the assistants.
David and I were also putting the final touches on the wedding plans. Over our Thanksgiving break, we went to the beach to meet with the wedding coordinators and finished planning everything. It was perfect.
For Christmas, David and I spent the holiday in Spring, Tx with his family. The gift that I cherish the most the gift I received from David. He got me my first and only digital camera. I think he hates the thought of me having the camera now, lol.
Once second semester approached, all of our friends started having a little more fun….and we all began thinking about the future. Lets just say some of us were worried about the future. We were all also worrying about passing our classes and adding the final touched to our projects and papers. All I know is that we all celebrated big time when we turned everything in for the last time.
Once graduation came and went, David and I started gathering all of the gifts and decorations for the wedding. It couldn’t come soon enough for us. All we wanted was to be married and go on the honeymoon, lol.
